New Year, Same Project?

January 1, 2023

Are you working on the same creative project you promised yourself you would complete last year?

It's a common story for creative people: we get motivated around the start of a new year to bring our big visions to life. Maybe it's a book you've been writing, a business you want to launch, or an art show you want to host. But all too often, these projects end up getting pushed to the back burner or abandoned altogether. Year after year, we get stuck in the loop of letting our ideas sit idle and collect dust until December 31st.

So how do we break this cycle? How do we turn our grand plans and big ideas into actual, tangible creations? It won't be easy, but it will be worth it.

Here are a few tips to help you get started:

  • Set small, achievable goals for yourself. This can help you build momentum and stay motivated.
  • Find an accountability partner. Having someone to check in with and share your progress with can help you stay on track.
  • Revisit your goals quarterly instead of yearly. Give yourself a dose of that BNYE (Big New Year Energy) every 3 months.

Don't let fear, doubt, or procrastination hold you back. You have the talent and the drive to create something truly special. Embrace your creativity and let it guide you to greatness. This can be the year that you bring your creative visions to life. Let's make it happen.
