Deep Thoughts

Be the person your dog thinks you are.

November 20, 2023

"Be the person your dog thinks you are."

The purpose of this saying is to encourage you to be your best self.

But this quote falls short of something greater.

Don't just be the person your dog thinks you are...

Be your dog.

Offer a non-judgmental ear.

Accept someone for the little things that makes them "them".

Engage them enthusiastically as if you're never going to see them again.

Have resounding loyalty.

Be their constant and reliable companion.

Fearlessly protect them.

Show empathy when they need you emotionally.

Be a safe space, a source of unwavering comfort.

Be patient and understanding with them.

Be endlessly forgiving when they falter.

Show boundless energy and joy in everyday interactions.

Be curious about them and the world around you.

Boldly embrace new adventures.

Keep a playful spirit.

Be unapologetically quirky.

Radiate positivity.

You one clear purpose and motto you live by: Love unconditionally.

Love so deeply that your love inspires them to look at you and say, "I want to be the person you think I am."

RIP Feebie

I think about you every day. I will be more like you.
